2009 FRC Competition: Lunacy

The Atholton Robotics Team 2537 has begun strategy and design consepts for the 2009 FRC competition, Lunacy. The team has drawn up four conseptual drive train ideas, three ideas for possible manipulators, and has a dedicated strategy for each relative aspect of our robot and the game. We will decide on a final design and startegy this Wednesday during our primary design review. We will be uploading pictures and drawings in our next post.

We’re progressing nicely and preparing to ship the robot out! Our bot is coming together as we work out last minute kinks and bugs. We’ll be giving it a try in a scrimmage this Saturday in Baltimore.
We look forward to the competition next month!

We’re progressing nicely on our robot! We completed a successful design review (a few days late due to snow). Our chassis and drivetrain are in progress, our programmers are typing away, and everyone’s putting in long days.
Hope to have pictures of our progress up soon.

Our work begins! We’ve commenced the 2008 season, “Overdrive”. This website will be updated with pictures detailing our progress, as well as important team news, etc.
